PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for treating contaminated water. SOLUTION : Fine particles (bentonite rare earth, active carbon, and zeolite) and an iron-based blending type coagulant having a coagulant property are injected into contaminated water containing tritium or the like by high density coagulation in an early stage, and then the contaminated water is agitated for a long period. The method allows reduction of load in a following processing system and mass treatment by providing contact and agitation time by batch operation (batch method) or semi-batch operation in the early stage. Especially tritium tends to remain in heavy water, so that nano bubble having high concentration of oxygen is used on a gas-liquid decomposition device, or the contaminated water is injected into treatment water of the subsequent stage for mixing and dispersing the tritium.
