PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing a magnet and the magnet capable of obtaining high remanent magnetic flux density without using dysprosium (Dy) and also without using bond.
SOLUTION : An R-Fe-N compound containing a rare earth element as R or magnetic powder of hard magnetic material molded by an Fe-N compound is used. A primary molding is formed by pressurizing magnetic powder a plurality times using a metal mold (pressurization step, S2), and a secondary molding is formed by heating the primary molding at a temperature less than a decomposition temperature of the magnetic powder and then joining surfaces of adjacent magnetic powder to each other (calcination step, S3).
