PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a game machine capable of sustaining pleasure of a long-time game by giving unexpectedness to a player. SOLUTION : Every time a variable display is executed 1, 000 times, a value of a variation table counter is updated by one and a variation pattern table used for determining a pattern of a variable display is updated by one. Therefore, the game machine can execute a variable display of a different pattern according to the number of times of executing the variable display, without changing determination processing of the variation pattern in the main control board. Namely, even when a variation pattern specification command is same, the game machine can produce a variable display of a different pattern according to difference in the number of times of executing the variable display. A variable display of a pattern stored in a larger-number variable pattern table is not produced without continuation of the game so as to enhance the eagerness for the game of the player who wants to see such a rare variable display.
