PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an adsorbent which adsorbs, quite selectively, COcontained in the air in producing Nor Ofrom air.SOLUTION : A zeolite adsorbent consists of 50-90 wt.% of at least one zeolite X of an Si/Al ratio of 1.25 and 50-10 wt.% of at least one zeolite LSX of an Si/Al ratio of 1. At least 80% of the zeolite adsorbent is sodium-exchanged or at least 70% is strontium-exchanged, and remaining exchangeable sites are occupied by cations selected from those of Groups IA, IIA and IIIA or trivalent ions of rare earth elements and elements of the lanthanoid series.
