Stabilizer system comprises an alkali-earth-double carbonate-chalk compound (A), and at least one compound comprising compounds (B) or (C), where : (B) is at least one nitrogen containing organic compound comprising compounds (B1) or (B2); (B1) is a tert-alkanol amine; (B2) is an enaminone or an urea; and (C) is an alkali earth-alumohydroxocarbonate compound (C). Stabilizer system comprises an alkali-earth-double carbonate-chalk compound of formula ((M 1>O) m(M 2>O) n - m(CO 2) o(H 2O) p) (A), and at least one compound comprising compounds (B) or (C), where : (B) is at least one nitrogen containing organic compound comprising compounds (B1) or (B2); (B1) is a tert-alkanol amine; (B2) is an enaminone or an urea; and (C) is an alkali earth-alumohydroxocarbonate compound of formula (((M 1 - xZn x) yAl 2(OH) 4 + 2 yCO 3)(zH 2O)) (C). M 1>, M 2> : different alkali earth metal; m : 0.9-1.1; n : 1.9-2.1 (when p is 0-2.1) or 3.9-4.1 (when p is 0-4.1); o : 0-1.1; M : Mg or Ca; x : 0-0.5; y : 2-8; and z : 0-12. An independent claim is included for a composition comprising a halogen-containing polymer and the system.
