PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a transparent toner for electrostatic charge image development that can provide high transparency over a long period. SOLUTION : There is provided a transparent toner for electrostatic charge image development containing a binder resin, and a compound represented by the following formula (1), wherein R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, alkenyl group having 2 to 12 carbon atoms, or aryl group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms; and M represents a rare earth element, except the case where R1 and R2 are both a phenyl group.
