PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnet sorting method and device which rapidly evaluate the presence or absence of rare earth elements in magnets and their composition ratio in a nondestructive manner so as to sort the magnets. SOLUTION : A magnet sorting device 1 includes an X-ray generation source 11, a sample chamber 12, an X-ray detector 15, a counting circuit 16, and a determination/sorting part 19. The sample chamber 12 includes an inclined part 12a for sliding a test sample 13, and a level part 12b for holding the test sample 13. A predetermined cleaning solvent 14 is stored in the sample chamber 12 in such a manner that the test sample 13 is immersed in the solvent during measurement. COPYRIGHT : (C)2014, JPO&INPIT
