PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a stack structure configured by using a plurality of cells of lateral stripe type fuel batteries having supporting substrates hard to deform when the supporting substrates receive external force. SOLUTION : On each of upper and lower surfaces of a platy supporting substrate 10 formed with a fuel gas channel 11 inside and having a longitudinal direction, a plurality of generating element portions A electrically connected in series are disposed at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction. On each of the upper and lower surfaces of the supporting substrate 10, a plurality of recessed portions 12 is formed at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction. Each recessed portion 12 is a rectangular parallelepiped depression defined by four side walls closing in a circumferential direction, and a bottom wall. In each recessed portion 12, a fuel pole 20 of the corresponding generating element A is embedded. Each fuel pole 20 includes Ni or an Ni oxide, and a rare earth element oxide or an oxide expressed by a chemical formula AEZrO3 (where, AE is one, or two or more kinds of elements selected from Ca, Sr, Mg, and Ba).
