Provided is a method for preparing a sintered neodymium-iron-boron magnet. The method comprises the following steps : selecting a main alloy and an auxiliary alloy, wherein the main alloy is a neodymium-iron-boron alloy cast ingot or cast sheet, and the auxiliary alloy is a heavy rare earth alloy; crushing the main alloy into main alloy hydrogen decrepitation coarse powder by a hydrogen decrepitation method, performing hydrogen absorption processing on the auxiliary alloy, and crushing the auxiliary alloy into auxiliary alloy hydride particles; mixing and uniformly stirring the main alloy hydrogen decrepitation coarse powder and the auxiliary alloy hydride particles, wherein the weight percentage of the main alloy hydrogen decrepitation coarse powder is greater than or equal to 75% and smaller than 100%, and the weight percentage of the auxiliary alloy hydride particles is greater than 0 and smaller than or equal to 25%; crushing the mixture into powder with a surface area mean particle size of 1 to 5 μm; uniformly stirring the powder, and performing orientation forming on the powder; and sintering the powder. The method is simple in processing and low in cost, and the high-coercivity sintered neodymium-iron-boron magnet prepared by the method has excellent comprehensive magnetic properties and high consistency.
