The present invention relates to Nd-doped aluminate-based or silicate-based glass in which a peak emission wavelength is longer than 1, 059.7 nm and/or emission cross-section (σ _em) is >= 1.5 x 10-20 cm^2 and/or emission bandwidth (Δ λ _eff) is >= 28 nm while a low glass transition temperature T_g, a low non-linear index, and n_2 are maintained.(AA) When Zr is used for a L65 aluminate glass system, observed was the emission peak that has shifted by 2 nm. When transition metal additives are used, it was observed that an emission bandwidth has also been slightly improved.(BB) Normalized emission intensity(CC) Peak is moved from 1.067.0 to 1.068.8COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
