PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To determine the authenticity by itself, at low cost and with good security performance.SOLUTION : An authenticity determination system irradiates an information recording medium with exciting light, the information recording medium including an information recording layer containing a rare-earth fluorescent complex which can bring an emission intensity peak into site in two or more wavelengths. The system concurrently measures the emission intensity at least in two wavelengths to calculate a ratio thereof, and further collates the resultant with a predetermined ratio to determine the authenticity.
