A vacuum-induced smelting and rapid hardening equipment for a rare earth permanent magnetic alloy, comprising a vacuum-induced smelting and rapid hardening chamber (1), a material collecting and temperature maintained treatment chamber (2), a cooling chamber (3) and an inter-chamber isolation valve (4); the inter-chamber isolation valve (4) is installed between the material collecting and temperature maintained treatment chamber (2) and the cooling chamber (3); the vacuum-induced smelting and rapid hardening chamber (1) is located above the material collecting and temperature maintained treatment chamber (2) with an exit of the material introduction cylinder (11) corresponding to the material collecting and temperature maintained treatment chamber (2); the vacuum-induced smelting and rapid hardening chamber (1) is also provided with a water cooling electrode, a vacuum pumping device (18), an inert gas introduction device, a temperature measuring mechanism, a pressure meter, a vacuum gauge and safety valves. The present invention solves the following phenomena in the existing neodymium iron boron products of a vacuum rapid quenching process : uneven grain distribution and over-fine grains appearing in the metallographic structure, frequent alpha-iron precipitation and the manganese precipitation in a hydrogen storage alloy smelting process, thus increasing performance of products and production efficiency, while simplifying the process and reducing the investment in equipment.
