A vacuum-induced smelting and rapid hardening apparatus for a rare earth permanent magnetic alloy, comprising a pair of chamber doors (1, 4) which work alternately and are provided with an induction furnace body (2), a chamber shell body (5), a maintenance door (7), a vacuum system (6), a water cooling system and a control cabinet (8). A steel framework (10) of the induction furnace body is connected with brackets of the chamber doors through a rotating shaft (24); and the furnace body consists of a crucible (14), a steel framework, heat-resistant bricks and a copper induction coil (13). A rapid cooling copper roller (18), a tundish (17), a vacuum pumping device, an inert gas introduction device, a temperature measuring mechanism, a pressure controller and a safety valve are arranged in the chamber shell body. A material collecting tank (23) is arranged below the chamber shell body, and connected with the chamber shell body through an isolating gate valve; the material collecting tank is an annular tank body of a water cooled jacket (27) with a separation plate (35) arranged in the tank cavity. The vacuum-induced smelting and rapid hardening apparatus combines the induction heating process, molten alloy process, rapid hardening process and oxygen-free discharging of rare-earth permanent-magnet raw materials in a vacuum or in a protective atmosphere, thus increasing the performance of products and production efficiency, simplifying the process and reducing the investment in equipment.
