PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an X-ray CT apparatus which can generate highly precise tomographic images in which deterioration of image quality is suppressed even when uneven rotational speeds occur in the rotation part. SOLUTION : An X-ray CT apparatus comprises a rotation part, a data collection part, a position detection part, and a reconfiguration processing part. The rotation part has an X-ray source for generating X-rays and an X-ray detector disposed opposite the X-ray source with a test object placed therebetween, and scans the test object while rotating around it. The data collection part receives signals from the X-ray detector, and obtains projection data at each timing that comes in predetermined periodicity. The position detection part detects the position of the rotation part in the direction of rotation at least at a timing. The reconfiguration processing part reconfigures the projection data obtained at a timing on the basis of position information that indicates the position detected at the timing.
