One embodiment of the present invention can provide a manufacturing method of rare earth oxide, the method including the following : a step of preparing a solution in which rare earth metallic salt is dissolved; a step of passing oxygen gas through the solution; a step of forming a precipitate by adding a base to the solution in which oxygen gas has been passed through; and a step of obtaining rare earth oxide particle by collecting the precipitate.
