PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a norbornene-based resin-impregnated superconducting coil, the performance of which can be prevented from degrading by suppressing the peeling of a superconducting wire rod. SOLUTION : A norbornene-based resin-impregnated superconducting coil is constituted by impregnating a coil 1, which is formed by using a rare-earth-based superconducting material, with a norbornene-based resin. The coil is impregnated with the norbornene-based resin, by winding the rare-earth-based superconducting material into a coil while applying a polymerizable component that contains a norbornene-based monomer and a metathesis polymerization catalyst, and then polymerization curing the composition.
