[Problem] To provide a method for manufacturing a sintered magnet in which the use of energy from the sintering step to the aging heat treatment step is made more efficient and the material yield is improved. [Solution] The present invention has : a step for press-forming a magnet powder constituting an R-Fe-B-based sintered magnet containing a rare earth element R and having Nd as a principal component, and thereby forming a compact formed by compacting of the magnet powder; a sintering step for sintering the compact in a state of being heated to the sintering temperature and forming a sintered magnet; a dimension correction step for pressure-forming the sintered magnet in a state of being heated to a temperature that does not exceed the sintering temperature, and thereby correcting the dimensions of the sintered magnet; and an aging heat treatment step for adjusting the structure of the sintered magnet using the heating atmosphere generated in the dimension correction step.
