The present invention relates to a sample preprocessing method for content analysis of rare earth elements used for an engine catalyst, more particularly to a sample preprocessing method for rare earth elements within a catalyst when using an inductively-coupled plasma spectrometer, especially, for an accurate content analysis of Pr.
