PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To manufacture a nano composite magnet without using a rare-earth element. SOLUTION : A magnetic particle 10 includes a hard-magnetic-phase core part 11 containing ε-Fe2O3and a soft-magnetic-phase shell part 12 containing Fe and covering at least a part of the core part 11. The magnetic particle 10 is manufactured by reducing surfaces of powder of ε-Fe2O3. Thus, the magnetic particle 10 can be manufactured by reducing an oxide of Fe without using a rare-earth element. When a sintered magnet or a bond magnet is manufactured using the magnetic particles 10, a nano composite magnet without using a rare-earth element can be manufactured. COPYRIGHT : (C)2011, JPO&INPIT
