PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnetic Buddhist altar which prevents a Buddhist altar article having a value obtained by dividing the height of the center of gravity of the Buddhist altar article by the radius of a circle surrounding the bottom of the Buddhist alter article of not more than 4, and a weight of not more than 300 g, from falling due to a strong horizontal acceleration of 980 gal equal to the gravitational acceleration on the ground, and which securely positions the Buddhist altar article. SOLUTION : A plurality of sets of sintered rare earth permanent magnets are used, the permanent magnet has a cross-section having a minimum radius of not less than 10 mm and not more than 15 mm, and further has an aspect ratio of not less than 0.3 and not more than 0.5. One sintered rare-earth permanent magnet 3 is mounted to a predetermined position of the bottom surface of a base 2 of the Buddhist altar article 1, and a Buddhist altar in which the Buddhist altar article 1 is placed, is mounted with a sintered rare-earth permanent magnet 5 at a Buddhist altar base material 4 covered with a surface material 6 having a thickness of not more than 1 mm. The sintered rare-earth permanent magnets 3 and 5 are magnetically attached to each other, and the Buddhist altar article 1 is attached to the Buddhist altar. COPYRIGHT : (C)2014, JPO&INPIT
