According to the present invention, fuel adhesion is detected inside an intake pipe during re-injection after the fuel is cut in an engine, and the enriching of an air-fuel ratio is suppressed to improve fuel consumption by ordering multiple injection controls on the basis of the detection result. Provided is an engine control device in which an intake pipe has a fuel injection device, an exhaust pipe has an air-fuel ratio sensor or an oxygen concentration sensor, multiple fuel injections are ordered in an exhaust stroke and an intake stroke, the sum of injection pulse widths during the exhaust stroke is the first injection pulse width, the sum of injection pulse widths during the intake stroke is the second injection pulse width, and a fuel cut and re-injection are ordered based on the accelerator position, the engine speed, and vehicle speed information; wherein the amount of adhered fuel inside the intake pipe is calculated based on a signal from the air-fuel ratio sensor or the oxygen concentration sensor during a fuel cut, and enriching of the air-fuel ratio is suppressed by varying the first injection pulse width and the second injection pulse width during a re-injection on the basis of the amount of adhered fuel.
