PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of a multi-component copolymer for manufacturing the multi-component copolymer by copolymerizing ethylene, a non-conjugated olefin compound having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and a conjugated diene compound. SOLUTION : There is provided a manufacturing method of a multi-component copolymer for manufacturing the multi-component copolymer by copolymerizing ethylene, a non-conjugated olefin compound having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and a conjugated diene compound, including a process for copolymerizing the ethylene, the non-conjugated olefin compound, and the conjugated diene compound, in the presence of a polymer catalyst composition containing a rare earth element compound ((A) component) represented by the prescribed formula.
