PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a radiowave absorber having high loss characteristics in a high-frequency band. SOLUTION : A radiowave absorber comprises : a plurality of core-shell type particles each of which has a core portion containing at least one kind of magnetic metal element selected from a first group consisting of Fe, Co, and Ni and at least one kind of metal element selected from a second group consisting of Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Zr, Ti, Hf, Zn, Mn, rare-earth elements, Ba and Sr, and a shell layer that coats at least a part of the core portion and has an oxide layer containing at least one kind of metal element selected from the second group and contained in the core portion; and a coupling layer that combines the plurality of core-shell type particles and has resistance higher than those of the core-shell type particles. Further, a volume filling fraction of the core-shell type particles in the radiowave absorber is not less than 10% and not greater than 55%. COPYRIGHT : (C)2014, JPO&INPIT
