PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing a rare earth sintered magnet which is capable of reducing deformation of a molded body due to sintering and also reducing material cut off in a post process than conventional ones.
SOLUTION : Each of aligned groups 8 is formed by mounting a mesh 6 on a bottom surface of an inner tray 4, and by alignedly disposing R-Fe-B based rare magnet material molded bodies 1 in a straight line shape so that their respective surfaces other than their respective maximum surfaces are oriented downward and adjacent ones thereof are located close to each other. Dummy molded bodies 7 are respectively disposed adjacent to both ends of each of the aligned groups 8 when the rare earth magnet material molded bodies 1 are sintered, for example, in a state of being covered with a flat plate shaped inner lid 5 and further covered with a flat plate shaped outer lid 3 by mounting the inner tray 4 on an outer tray 2.
