PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an elastic optical fiber cable which has a deformation followup property, is capable of performing optical transmission even during deformation and is available iteratively. SOLUTION : An elastic optical signal transmission cable is provided, the elasticity of which is 10% or more and the optical transmission loss of which is less than 20 dB/m in a slackened state. The elastic optical signal transmission cable includes an elastic cylinder having elasticity of 10% or more and at least one optical fiber which is wound around the elastic cylinder. A bend diameter R of the optical fiber is a critical bent diameter Re or more. The elastic optical signal transmission cable further includes a constraint filament body which is wound reversely to the optical fiber while alternately passing the outside and the inside (elastic cylinder side) of the optical fiber, and bend diameter variance Rr (Rr=Rmax-Rmin) is 0≤Rr≤Rave.
