A superconducting current lead for providing current to a superconducting device is provided with a plurality of electrode members, support bodies positioned between the plurality of electrode members so that the plurality of electrode members are mutually connected, and a plurality of rare earth multilayered thin-film superconducting wires that are positioned on the outer surface of the support bodies, have both ends connected to each of the plurality of electrode members, and have an angle θ from 40° to 60° formed by two mutually adjacent primary surfaces in the peripheral direction of a support body on the outer surface of the support body, and supplies current to a superconducting device.
