PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an anisotropic bond magnet provided with high magnetic characteristics, temperature characteristics and corrosion resistance by recycling municipal scraps of rare earth sintered magnets at low cost. SOLUTION : A method for manufacturing an anisotropic rare earth bond magnet includes the steps of : mechanically pulverizing rare earth magnets in an inert atmosphere; performing annealing treatment for eliminating strains to the pulverized material at a temperature from 400°C to 600°C during a retention time of 12 hours or more in a high vacuum or inert atmosphere; and kneading a binder and the material having been subjected to the annealing treatment for eliminating strains to be subjected to magnetic field molding. The method eliminates separation/purification of Sm and Nd, peeling of a magnet surface processing coating such as Ni plating, and removal of an adhesive. COPYRIGHT : (C)2013, JPO&INPIT
