PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing a rare-earth magnet that can expedite diffusion and impregnation of a modified alloy and can thereby manufacture the rare-earth magnet having coercive force performance. SOLUTION : The method of manufacturing the rare-earth magnet includes a first step for manufacturing a compact S by applying pressure-molding powder B used as a rare-earth magnet material, a second step for manufacturing a rare-earth magnet precursor C by applying hot plastic processing to give anisotropy with a modified alloy M for raising coercive force brought into contact with the compact S, and a third step for manufacturing the rare-earth magnet RM by heat-treating the rare-earth magnet precursor C and diffusing and impregnating the modified alloy M into the inside thereof.
