PURPOSE : A ferritic stainless steel having an excellent anticorrosive property against condensate water and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to allow the steel to have the anticorrosive property against the condensate water at least equivalent to the anticorrosive property of STS 439 material in a high sulfuric fuel usage environment without adding a rare element.CONSTITUTION : A ferritic stainless steel having an excellent anticorrosive property against condensate water includes over 0 to 0.01 wt% of C, 0.6 to 0.8 wt% of Si, over 0 to 0.5 wt% of Mn, over 0 to 0.035 wt% of P, over 0 to 0.01 wt% of S, 11 to 18 wt% of Cr, 0.15 to 0.5 wt% of Ti, 0.05 to 0.5 wt% of Sn, iver 0 to 0.01 wt% of N, and remnants Fe and other inevitable impurities. The steel has a value of Ti * (C + N), and the value is at least 12. A manufacturing method of the steel includes : a step of heating the slab of the steel at 1050 to 1180°C; a step of hot-rolling the slab at a finish rolling temperature of 1020 to 1200°C; a step of cold-rolling the hot-rolled slab with controlling a cold reduction rate to be within 70 to 80%; and a step of pickling the cold-rolled slab.[Reference numerals] (AA) Temperature : 75°C; (BB) Solution : Cl^- : 50ppm; (CC) Sn additive steel; (DD) Sn non-additive steel; (EE) Corrosion current density (A/cm^-2); (FF) Corrosion potential (V vs.Ag/AgCl)COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
