PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a polymer composition having more improved resoiling-preventing performance than the prior art when used for a detergent, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION : The sulfonic acid group-containing copolymer includes 5 to 45 mass% of a structure derived from a specific sulfonic acid group-containing monomer, 5 to 45 mass% of a structure derived from a specific polyoxyalkylene-based monomer, and 10 to 90 mass% of a structure derived from a carboxylic acid group-containing monomer.
