PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an excellent skin state evaluation tool for displaying a dirtiness degree on an operation screen when cleaning a measurement surface before starting measurement, so as to use as a rough indication for cleaning the measurement surface. SOLUTION : A picture for giving an indication to clean a sensor before starting the measurement is displayed on the liquid crystal screen 14 of the skin state evaluation tool. After cleaning the sensor, the dirtiness degree of the sensor is measured. When the dirtiness degree is within a predetermined permission range, the picture to indicate the measurement start is displayed. When the dirtiness degree exceeds the permission range, the picture to indicate the re-cleaning of the sensor is displayed. A graphic 43 for visually expressing the measured dirtiness degree of the sensor is displayed on at least the picture to indicate the re-cleaning of the sensor. COPYRIGHT : (C)2010, JPO&INPIT
