PURPOSE : A waste catalyst recycling method for phenol alkylation is provided to dissolve waste catalyst using nitric acid without an alkaline solution. CONSTITUTION : A waste catalyst recycling method for phenol alkylation includes a process in which a waste catalyst is dissolved. The waste catalyst is a multiple metallic components-based catalyst containing indium such as an indium-iron-vanadium-based catalyst represented by one of chemical formulas 1 to 3. The dissolving process with respect to the waste catalyst is implemented using nitric acid instead of an alkaline solution.
