The method involves measuring molar fractions of rare gas and species within gas. The gas is injected to subsoil formation. A sample of gas present in a subsoil area is taken. Molar fractions of rare gas and species within the sample are measured. Fraction of the species dissolved in the liquid is determined from the molar fractions using Henry law and Henry constants of the species and the rare gas. The measurement of the molar fractions, gas injection, taking of the sample and determination of species fraction are carried out to observe the characteristics of the species in subsoil. The subsoil formation contains liquid i.e. water.
