PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare-earth magnet having excellent Br and HcJ. SOLUTION : The rare-earth magnet is principally composed of R (where, R is one kind or more of element selected from the rare-earth elements including Y and containing Nd as an essential component), B, Al, Cu, Zr, Co, O, C and Fe, where the content of each element is R : 25-34 mass%, B : 0.85-0.98 mass%, Al : 0.03-0.3 mass%, Cu : 0.01-0.15 mass%, Zr : 0.03-0.25 mass%, Co : 3 mass% or less(0 mass% is not included), O : 0.2 mass% or less, C : 0.03-0.15 mass%, and Fe : the reminder.
