PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To determine the presence of disconnection and the presence of a rare short circuit in winding wires of a transformer in a short time without taking a lot of labor and time.
SOLUTION : A transfer function of a secondary winding wire in a frequency band where the first resonance of the transfer function when the winding wire is normal appears is calculated based on an input voltage applied to the secondary winding wire in a state where a primary winding wire is opened and a detected output voltage (S1, S2). When the value of the transfer function is less than a first threshold, it is determined that the disconnection occurs in the primary winding wire (S3 : Yes). When the value is equal to or more than a second threshold, it is determined that an inter-turn short circuit or a rare short circuit occurs in the primary winding wire (S4 : Yes). In the other cases (S3 : No and S4 : No), it is determined that the primary winding wire is normal (S5).
