PURPOSE : A limit detecting apparatus is provided to be extensively used for electric motor devices of various shapes and sizes without an installation space of a bracket. CONSTITUTION : One side of a shaft is exposed to housing outside. The other side of the shaft is placed within the housing. External force is applied to the exposed side of the shaft and the shaft enters to the inside the housing. A magnetic body(30) is installed on the other side of the shaft. A sensor(40) senses magnetic force generated in the magnetic body and creates a control signal for controlling an electric motor device when the shaft enters the inside the housing and the magnetic body approaches within the constant distance.
