PURPOSE : A silicate glass manufacturing method including lead sulfide quantum dot containing rare earth are provided to control size of quantum dots by adding rare earth compound to inside a silicate glass without adjusting heat treatment temperature or time. CONSTITUTION : A manufacturing method of silicate glasses comprises the following steps : manufacturing a base mixture by mixing silicon oxide with rare earth oxide which includes red compound and sulfur compound; manufacturing a silicate glass molten product by fusing the base mixture; manufacturing the silicate glass by cooling the silicate glass molten material; and segregating lead sulfide quantum dots by heat treating the silicate glass; and completing the silicate glass which includes the lead sulfide quantum dot including the rare earth metals.
