PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an R-T-B-based sintered magnet excellent in coercive force at high temperature even when a usage amount of a heavy rare-earth element such as Dy, Tb is significantly reduced than before, or it is not used at all.SOLUTION : The R-T-B-based sintered magnet includes : an RTB main phase crystal particles 2; and an Fe rich phase 4 other than the main phase crystal particles, whose Fe content is higher than the main phase crystal particles, containing R. An area ratio of the Fe rich phase 4 to a cross-sectional area of the R-T-B-based sintered magnet is greater than or equal to 0.05% and less than or equal to 1.0%.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1
