PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a water treatment system and water treatment method capable of reducing a load in a biological treatment. SOLUTION : A high-efficient solid-liquid separation filtration tank 2 packed with a floating filter medium is installed on a post-stage of a sand sedimentation basin 1 to remove earth and sand and the like, and a raw water having passed through the sand sedimentation basin 1 is subjected to a filtration treatment. A membrane separation activated sludge means is constituted of a bioreactor tank 3 and a membrane filtration apparatus 4 installed in order in a post-stage of the high-efficient solid-liquid separation filtration tank 2. The filtrate water having passed through the high-efficient solid-liquid separation filtration tank 2 is subjected to a biotreatment in the bioreactor tank 3 composed of a denitrification tank 3a and a nitrification tank 3b; the treated water after the biotreatment is subjected to a membrane filtration treatment by the membrane filtration apparatus 4 and the treated water after the treatment is discharged. An activated sludge is returned from the membrane filtration apparatus 4 to the bioreactor tank 3 by a crossflow. COPYRIGHT : (C)2013, JPO&INPIT
