PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth permanent magnet and a manufacturing method of the same, capable of preventing degradation of magnet characteristics. SOLUTION : A slurry 12 is produced by kneading a binder, composed of a magnet powder made by pulverizing a magnet raw material and a hydrocarbon, and one or more kinds of organic solvents selected from organic compounds composed of a hydrocarbon. The produced slurry 12 is formed into a sheet-shape, so that a green sheet 13 is manufactured. Then, by holding the manufactured green sheet 13 under non-oxidation atmosphere at a binder decomposition temperature for a certain time, the binder is decomposed into monomer by depolymerization reaction or the like, scattered, and removed. Then, the green sheet 13, from which the binder is removed, is sintered by increasing the temperature to a calcining temperature, so that a permanent magnet 1 is manufactured.
