PURPOSE : A biological denitrification and dephosphorization-advanced sewage and wastewater treatment apparatus is provided to reduce the amount of excessive generated sludge and to increase a microorganism population.CONSTITUTION : A biological denitrification and dephosphorization-advanced sewage and wastewater treatment apparatus includes an initial settling bath(10), an anoxic sludge bath(20), an anaerobic bath(30), an aerobic bath(40), an anoxic bath(50), a re-aerobic bath(60), and a final settling bath(70). The initial settling bath settles suspended materials in sewage. The anoxic sludge bath supplies sludge to the anaerobic bath. The anaerobic bath treats sewage from the initial settling bath under an anaerobic state. The aerobic bath nitrifies ammoniacal nitrogen or organic nitrogen in the treated water from the anaerobic bath using dissolved oxygen. The anoxic bath removes nitrate in sewage from the initial settling bath and the treated water from the aerobic bath using nitrogen gas. The re-aerobic bath removes non-treated organic materials and phosphorus in the anoxic bath by using a membrane attached with a biofilm(90). The final settling bath settles sludge in the treated water from the re-aerobic bath.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
