PURPOSE : A method for preparing rear ginsenoside compound K and aglycone protopanaxadiol using beta-glycosidase is provided to ensure production efficiency. CONSTITUTION : A composition for preparing aglycone protopanaxadiol contains enzyme having an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1 as an active ingredient. The enzyme is beta glycosidase. The thermostable beta-glycosidase is derived from Pyrococcus furiosus. The beta-glycosidase has an amino acid sequence of sequenc number 1. The composition further contains ginsenoside RD or ginseng extract.
