The invention relates to a combustible shaped ammunition part, such as a propellant case or a propellant charge container, wherein the combustible shaped ammunition part contains an erosion-reducing admixture. To ensure that the erosion-reducing admixture leads to a higher reduction in the erosion effect of the propellant powder in the shaped ammunition part as compared to known admixtures, the invention comprises using an oxide of one of the elements of rare earth, in particular La2O3, CeO2, Y2O3 and/or one of the elements of the 6th subgroup in the periodic system, especially MoO3 or WO3 and/or poly oxy methylene (POM).
