Composite material Al reacting with water for making film on substrate comprises initial Al material of purity 4N or 5N and In added thereto in amount of 2 to 5 wt % per weight of Al, where In is uniformly dispersed in crystalline grains Al. To produce film Al reacting with water from said composite material, composite material is fused, deposited on substrate surface and cured by tempering.
