PURPOSE : A fuel supply system and method for an offshore structure with a high pressure natural gas injection engine and a re-liquefying device are provided to save energy for re-liquefying evaporation gas.CONSTITUTION : A fuel supply system with a heat exchanger for recovering cold energy comprises a storage tank(11), a unit(13) for compressing evaporation gas, a re-liquefying device(60), a high pressure pump(33), a high pressure vaporizer(37), and a heat exchanger(70) for recovering cold energy. The re-liquefying device comprises a cold box(61), a multistage compression unit, a gas-liquid separator(64), and a refrigerant expansion valve(65). The cold box re-liquefies the evaporation gas by heat exchanging a refrigerant with the evaporation gas. The multistage compression unit comprises a plurality of refrigerant compressors and refrigerant coolers. The gas-liquid separator separates the refrigerant discharged from the multistage compression unit into liquid and gas states.
