PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a porous conductive substrate for a fuel cell comprising TiO2 which is low in price and can be easily obtained, and a solid oxide fuel cell.
SOLUTION : A porous conductive substrate 1 for a fuel cell is composed of Ni and TiO2. The volume percentage of Ni is 40 to 60 vol.%, and the volume percentage of TiO2 is 60 to 40 vol.%. A solid oxide fuel cell is made by sequentially providing a fuel electrode layer 3, a solid electrolyte layer 4, and an air electrode layer 6 on the porous conductive substrate 1 for a fuel cell. The porous conductive substrate 1 for a fuel cell containing no rare earth element can be easily obtained at low cost.
