Useful model relates down the field of optics, in particular to optical fiber amplifiers technique. The [optovolokonnaya] system for strengthening the picosecond laser pulses, which includes the source of picosecond pulses, the connected for the sake of the source dispersive element for the communication to pulse of frequency modulation (chirp), optical fiber with the normal dispersion of the group velocities, alloyed by rare-earth ions, the source of pumping, multiplexer, through which down the alloyed by rare-earth ions optical fiber are connected the output of the dispersive element and the source of pumping, compressor for the pay-off of frequency modulation, compression of the duration of pulse and increase in its peak power, connected down the output alloyed by rare-earth ions [optovolokna], which consists besides the passive optical fiber with the anomalous dispersion of the group velocities. In this case the value of the dispersion of the group velocities before the alloyed by rare-earth ions optical fiber exponentially grows with the fiber length. This makes it possible to obtain the [optovolokonnyy] amplifier with a high (more than by an order) increase in the energy of pulse with the aid of the shortened active light guide (with length of less than 3 m).
