PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare-earth sintered magnet with which residual magnetic flux density is more improved than the case adding Al or Cu while displaying the same coercive force as the coercive force in the case of adding Al or Cu. SOLUTION : The rare-earth sintered magnet in this invention, contains 12.0-15.0 atomic% rare-earth element R (R is at least one kind of element selected from a group composed of Nd, Pr, Gd, Tb, Dy and Ho, and Nd and/or Pr contain ≥50%), 5.5-8.5 atomic% B, 0.005-0.20 atomic% Au and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
