PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a laminated ceramic electronic component in which dielectric characteristics such as dielectric constants and capacitance-temperature characteristics can be improved irrespective of the content of components contained in a dielectric ceramic composition. SOLUTION : A laminated ceramic electronic component has an element body where a dielectric layer 2 and an internal electrode layer are laminated. The dielectric layer comprises a dielectric ceramic composition containing : a compound that is represented by general formula ABO3(where, A represents one kind or more of elements selected from Ba, Ca and Sr, and B represents one kind or more of elements selected from Ti, Zr and Hf) and has a perovskite structure; an oxide of Mg; an oxide of rare earth elements containing Sc and Y; and an oxide containing Si. The dielectric ceramic composition has dielectric particles 20 and a grain boundary 22. When the content ratio of Mg in the grain boundary is D(Mg), and the content ratio of Si is D(Si), the D(Mg) is 0.2 to 1.8 wt% in terms of MgO, and the D(Si) is 0.4 to 8.0 wt% in terms of SiO2.
