FIELD : metallurgy. SUBSTANCE : cobalt-based alloy which can be subjected to strengthening by means of nitrogenation throughout its thickness and which contains the following, wt % : chrome 23-30, iron 15-25, nickel up to 27.3, titanium 0.75-1.7, niobium or zirconium, or their combination 0.85-1.9, carbon 0.2, boron up to 0.015, rare-earth metals up to 0.015, aluminium up to 0.5, manganese up to 1, silicon up to 1, tungsten up to 1, molybdenum up to 1, cobalt and impurities - the rest; at that, titanium + niobium is 1.6 to 3.6.
